She was so easy to confuse. He could sense it in her movements just how baffled she was. He was extremely good at this game and was one step ahead everytime. It was beautiful, a challenge, a risk that he loved to take.
He let go of her hands gently, turning to walk out of the alley way that they had spent their time in. The street was empty, surprisingly. No-one had followed them, out of fear he imagined. Perfect. He walked out and stood in the road. He looked down at the restaurants and boutiques. The coat billowed a little in the wind, his frame looking much more powerful and a much better display of his wealth.
“There’s a place up here that looks over priced and exquisite.” He chuckled, pointing to a beautiful, white marble hotel which was surrounded by statues and pillars. The garden outside it was well trimmed and neat. Everything about it reeked wealth and arrogance.

She held no disdain for the fancy place, but it seemed no different than an ordinary restaurant. “Yes,” she said. “It looks… perfect.”
